The hanging bolts used in 1934 and 1935 Ford radios were T headed and they locked into the flange on the radio side. The T bolt measured 2-1/4" from under the head to the end of the threads. The washer was 2-1/4" in diameter which is quite large. Here are some photos of the correct T bolt.
