Are you satisfied with fiberglass fenders? It is hard to give advice when we do not know exactly what the paint problem is. Get them looked at by a professional so you can tell us whether it is just a paint issue or much deeper. If it shows hazing and cracking it will be approached differently than if you just have some chips and maybe paint polished through. Steel will look better and originals will be expensive or need a lot of work which is the same thing. The decision is what you want your car to be to you. You're the only one who needs to enjoy it.
