A squeak tells me that something is dry, if there's sufficient grease in/around the bearing and races the bearing shouldn't squeak even if it's loose on the spindle. I would suspect something else is squeaking, possibly the drum is hitting the backing plate or maybe the king pin bearings are dry. Or?
