I agree with bob p, just put a regular charger on the battery once a month, keep the cells up to the correct level and you should be OK. I charge the batteries on my cars on or about the first of the month November through April. I have NAPA Group 1 batteries in all the cars, including my 23 roadster and regularly get 6-8 years out of each. My main concern with a tender is that it’s always plugged in and I’m just old fashioned enough to be cautious about that. Others will disagree and that’s OK.
