In addition to the above suggestions prior to a trip, I always check each tire pressure including the spare which I like a 40 lbs. I also put a torque wrench to each lug bolt to the tune of 64 in. lbs. I'm leaving for the New England meet tomorrow which is only 210 miles from the Cape.
