I fill my lug wrench, socket, hand crank with newspaper and dip it in rubber handle dip about 5"-6" 3-4 times and let it dry. cut end open with a utility knife but leave the leading edge covered, tadaaaa, no more scratched wheels. I have a star lug wrench so the red handle dip shows which end to use.
