Hmm, let's hope that 'they' ended up noticing that was used oil , and could/did use it in their vehicle.

When as a youth, used oil was only oil I ever used...just kept adding to what was left in crankcase. Hey, worked for poor boys then.
You may (maybe not) be surprised that people did such 'frugal' things then.

Never put 'new' oil, out of a container in any old clunker i owned.
