I am working on the 30 coupe. It needs new king pin bushings. I purchased a complete kit including new pins(spindle) from Snyder's. I have pressed the bushings in and reamed with the correct size reamer. Pins go in with little drag, no binding. The question I have is about adding the shim if necessary. I have seen two diagrams showing two different locations. The first was under the thrust bearing on top of the spindle and the second pic was between the top of the axel and the underside of the top of the spindle.
