Agree with GB and flatford8. I have a 47 tonner and if you are willing to practice practice practice then you can get pretty good at shifting these things. Even when you get good at it you will still miss it on occasion. But that's OK because they are super tough. It is super rewarding when it starts clicking and you realize you have developed a skill that many give up on.
