LowdownA, there is truth in what you say, however different solvents flash dry faster than others. Whatever solvent is the base of Rustoleum rattle can paints (and there may be different ones for different types) the one for High Temperature is too slow and depending on the depth of the coat will require a long period of time to cure all the way through. I plan on trying Krylon High Temperature paint next. I know that Krylon drys much faster than Rustoleum, as to whether it is any better or worse a paint I cannot say........
