If you find one you're interested in, come back here and give location and see if somebody on the Barn is nearby and could give a "look" for you.
There are also "professional" inspectors all over the country (ck Hemming's) that for a modest fee will inspect the car for you and issue a report.
There are also people here on the Barn (Truly Vintage, highly recommended) that will enclosed transport for you at reasonable prices.
