I carry a 12 volt battery jumper pack that also has a small air compressor built into it and a 12 volt power outlet (to charge cell phone, power any accessory that you would plug into your car's outlet). I don't carry this thing in my Model A but I carry it in my truck. It takes the power for the air compressor from the built-in battery.

I have only jumped a car once with it but I use the compressor a lot, and the power outlet. (My trailer has an electric jack on the front and lights inside that will all run off of the battery pack when the trailer is not connected to the truck. Very handy.)
