Jan, I had my windshield rechromed last year after the new paint made it look so shabby. You will need to disassemble both halves, remove the threaded square insert that allows the 2 halves to join together after the screws are all out of it. I cleaned out the above mentioned drain holes and made sure the glass and rubber seal channels were all raked clean of debris before I sent it to the plater. Pay close attention to the lower half where it has the drain holes, sometimes this area is rusted beyond repair and a new frame will be in order. I would suggest getting new screws for assembly and the regulator. Mike Driskell at 3rd Gen Automotive has all the proper hardware you will need.
