I used flexible metal tack strip for my headliner around the doors. Applied over the windlace. The headliner tucks into the strip and the teeth hold it in place. Tamped down snugly with a rubber hammer, hides all the ugly. It's cheap and does just what it's supposed to. I have quite a bit left. Prolly enough to do 10 cars!
