Default Re: Accelerator Foot Rest Location

Thank you to Rusty,

I have that drawing that you referenced. I made my upper floor board to this drawing. I inserted the hole, but had no idea why it was there.

The accelerator foot rest that I received from a parts vendor, comes with a plate that is secured to the floorboard with 3 wood screws.

The support plate also has a flat machined in it.

So, it the footrest support plate installed, centered over the hole in the floorboard?

The footrest itself is threaded to screw into the support plate and comes with a locking nut.

So, why the hole in the floorboard?

Thanks,
