Default Re: Ford wrenches

Bill, I had a shop doing foreign car repair in the early 60's. Lots of VWs plus the odd ones like the V8-60 Simca, Humbers, Wolsey, Standard Vanguards, Jag MKV, Lloyd, several MGs. I even had a customer who had a 1934 Lagonda sports car. I never worked on it but he bought Castrol oil from me. His son still has the car but moved to the west coast so I haven't seen it in years. I did some work one time on an early 30's Humber that the British shipping agent had run dry of water and cracked the head. Interesting old car with a pre-selector gearbox. Thanks for triggering these memories. Now back to Model As and the simple life.
