We lost our Foliage weeks ago.
In the past few years if you blink you miss it. Realy it can be beautifully at noon Then the wind & Rain come and by 5 p.m all leaves are gone.( well not gone but on the ground) LOL
Leaves turn color in a large part according to temperature which varies with altitude. If one lives where the elevation is pretty much the same all over then the trees are most likely to change all at once then be gone. Where I live we get a long stretch of color because we can drive up to 8,000 feet early in the fall to see the quakies yellow then the color moves down the mountain as the temperature does over the next month until it is down where we live but long gone up higher. So, if the color isn't at the elevation we are and we want to see some we just drive to the elevation where it is. That's how it works here.
