Default Re: installing stainless trim on running board

Just did new rubber and trim on my 30. Trial fit everything first and trim the mat to fit. The trim piece closest to the splash apron should be treaded onto the mat, then glue it all down. I used the gel style contact cement common to formica kitchen counters since I was gluing to original running boards and they were pitted. the ends are clamped in place with the bolts that hold the running board to the fenders and the outside piece covers the outer edge of the running board and will need to bent up slightly from the bottom edge to hold in place.
