You did a great job building a new cable.
Here is a couple shots of mine as I got the truck. I think IIRC David may have noted the carb on this B engine may be a later 33 or 34. Anyway I am still using this GAV as it works pretty good but does stick when turned too far closed for the fuel/ air mix.
Hope these might help, even though I know your done with this portion of the build.






Here is one of my issues. My started cable was not working, rusted inside the spiral housing. Part of the end broke off. just enough left to start it. Not sure if there is another working cable out there somewhere??


I thought of trying to rebuild it with a new cable, to allow me to use the original starter pull button. But was not sure of the process.


Your doing a great job on the gages! You have great skills!
