Well, after much consideration I've decided to go with Ed Whitney's 6 volt alternator. I spoke with Ed personally today and learned many details which the other 6 volt manufacturers don't mention, or offer. So, I ordered mine today (8/25) and I'm sure I'll be very pleased with maintaining the stock generator look, as well as having better lighting & battery maintenance.
