Once these 2 are clocked correctly, you install the cover and set the distributor timing by the pin in the cam gear dimple.

Here's a picture of the gears in mesh.
Ill get a pic of the timing marks there is no mark on the crank gear that lines up with the mark on the cam gear dimple.....there are 2 small center punch holes on one crank tooth but its no where near the key way and never lines up with the cam dimple (in at least 6 engine revolutions).
