48 Ford Super Deluxe Fordor. chevy 350 w/350 turbo automatic, a/c, pb, ps and power seats, pw, new leather interior, 15" chrome wheels, great radio w/power antenna. My first car while in high school in the 50's was a 40 Ford Deluxe Business Coupe in which I transplanted a 52 Olds Rocket ohv V8. Shortly thereafter came the Iskendarian cam and an Edelbrock 3 carb manifold. A few months ago I sold my faithful Austin-Healey 100-SIX of 35 years with all of the 3000 modifications along with a/c and a factory hardtop for a reasonable hunk of change, however, it wasn't enough to get into the pricey world of 40 Ford Coupes. I found my Fordor which was exquisitly modified and at a reasonable price so I found me a Street Rod which I love and still have half of my Healey money. My 79th b'day is several weeks away and I'm still playing with cars and enjoying every minute. jerry wall rowlett, tx
