Default Oil Pan Fix

When my engine was built I went with the truck pan with the big oil hole and bracket on the back of the pan. After the engine was installed in my 40 I found out the later starter plate could not be installed until I removed the bracket. I carefully tried to remove the bottom part of the truck plate from the oil pan but upon removing a stubborn spotweld opened a 1/8" hole in the pan. Luckily the hole is close to the big inspection cover on the pan. I do not want to remove the pan to repair the hole; what is the best way to go? Can I carefully wireweld the hole or should I braze or solder it. Thought about JB weld but not sure it will work. Looking for opinions.
