Rear windows must be removed. Glue the lining in very well. I prefer 3M contact cement. Once it is very dry, using a razor, remove any material from the edge that the glass (seal) would push against.

There's a lot of "pull" back there and as such, I'd be fearful of the 'tuck" approach being strong enough to last.

The window molding is designed to hold the windows in place, NOT hold the headliner.
