Once I freed up the hinge pins, I removed the hood, in sections, to prevent damage. Then I replaced the hinge pins with WOOD Dowels, soaked in Linseed Oil. Linseed Oil comes from FLAX SEEDS. (NOT good for cookin' FOODS!)
