Just going to add my 2cents worth. This applies to the slingshot setup on a small 221 standard cam. Its very noticeable that it needs heat to work, mine doesn't run very well until the engine comes up to temp [its painful!]. Im not that convinced that its any better than a single carb either. In fact I'd say in most aspects the single carb would be a 'faster' setup, most certainly in traffic.
