Kiwi, 8BA with Edelbrock 8 BA 1116 heads Fel pro gaskets.
Too early to tell about power yet, just getting past the heat problem.
It seems fine now with the 10* advance at idle and a little beat down on the throttle! It actually idled in my driveway for 15 minutes just under 210*
I have your L100B cam in this block and it sounds friggin nasty! I'm tuning by laptop with a Mallory Unilte distributor and a CB performance black box. I've gone the centrifugal route, but with a blower, it's much easier to pinpoint timing throughout the entire curve and more importantly pull out timing when under boost. Thanks!
