I'm thinking about converting my '39 CS to tube shocks...

It's shocking, I know but, I've gotten just about every other mechanical situation resolved, and it's only taken me 26 years of driving her to get to this point,

so I thought I'd go the next step. I've been procrastinating, thinking about having the OEM shocks rebuilt, and I still might go that route but, I'd like to hear from any of you guys that have used the various 'kits' available to do the conversion, with pros and cons. Lets just say I'm doing my due diligence, before committing myself...

Or having myself committed...
