Default Ford 1963,1964 and 1968 Indy 260/289 Engines

If you have a 260 and a little time and extra dollars you can build one of these.

Check out the power figures on the '68 turbo version.


This was done in house by Ford engineers.


Has the name of the department that does this kind of thing in the article.


The plug got pulled on racing at Ford hard around 1970 as noted before.


Mickey Thompson worked with the Chevy Indy crusade in same time period.


Chevy Indy V8's.Chrysler was MIA.Never did hear the story why that was so.


You can always just go for a drive in your 260 Falcon and make racing noises as you go through curves.


Just like you are behind the wheel of a Ford '63 Indy 260 race car!
