It would look exactly like the original generator used in production on whatever year vehicle you are interested in, because the alternator is installed inside the original generator housing, except for the center casing which machined from aluminum, and is just slightly larger in diameteI as compared to original.
......and I could post pictures of my original generators tomorrow that would look identical to a Whitney alternator conversation
