Default Re: Front inner race turns on hub

[QUOTE=1930artdeco;1674085]The spindle I am working on (LF), the bearing rotates quite easily and can come off with just a tug of the fingers. The consensus seems to be to stake it with a center punch to stop it from rotating. I have a center punch with a sharp point that should work. I don't think it is a dangerous issue right now and can quite easily go many more miles. I will have to to fix it this winter though.

The RF spindle has a bearing that does not rotate at all on the spindle. I mean it is on there tight and needs a puller probably to get it off. So I will stake the left front and if the squeak goes away then that was the problem. if not I will keep looking.

.

Your left front is normal, the right front has a problem
