Default Re: spark plug gap model a

The new old stock Champion C4 plugs that I have used at times on some of my cars recommended a gap of .032 . I ran -run the C4 plugs on .035 .The wider gap works good for me , no matter what spark plug that I use . Some are more interested in a slower idle and feel that narrower gap smooths and helps slow idle . Ford was concerned that higher compression would blow out the spark . I've never had that problem . The Pertronix Flamethrower coils that I use recommend opening up the spark plug gap even wider .
