True..If you original paint car had an almost perfect finish. I once looked at a car like this but the interior was a mess so I passed. In searching for a car I was interested in an original interior/not redone. But even if my paint finish was near perfect, I would put a good layer of wax or would that take away from it?. Many original paint cars have some life scars which would allow you to not worry too much about an additional new mark.
