Hi alll,
I took the advice of many of the Barners and just addressed the leaky gauge for now. When I drained the gas I ran the fuel through an inline fuel filter just to see what I would collect. There was quite a bit of rust for only draining about five gallons. I am planning to install an inline filter in the line until I pull the tank. That may not happen for a long time. Thanks for all your help.

A special thanks to Mitch for lending me the gauge tools which I hope to return tomorrow.
