Ok, I'll weigh in here - here's my 41 as recently purchased:
It's a bit of a Mongrel, it has a 9" rear, the x-members been hached out, and it has no engine and box.
It has a later bed whick I am busy narrowing back to the correct width. I am trying to find x-member parts here in the UK but it is proving difficult.
I already have Early ford running gear in 3 cars, so I am thinking of retaining the 9" rear it already has, and setting it up with a 312 Y-block and SROD overdrive box I have been saving for just such a project.
Outwardly it will end up looking pretty stock, except for 15" wheels and radials.
