So to sum up the reasoning. Nil fuel reduction burning in winter, political weakness, drought, arson and complacency on the part of some home owners. Does this writer agree with climate change? Yes. It started 12,000 years ago with the ending of the last ice age. Has man contributed? Possibly, but so many lies and exaggerations have been made I am quite sceptical.

So true, Gary. In central Arizona several years ago 19 firefighters burned to death less than 1/4 mile from safety due to numbskull desk drivers, miles away in Phoenix, putting themselves in charge of how to fight the fire, when and where to evacuate, etc. Of course, they had that big wall map and radio reports (delayed), so what could go wrong?
