Here is a simple tool I made to heat press on bearings and gears, such as the crankshaft timing gear. It only cost about $2 to make, and it gets the parts very hot with just a 60 watt light bulb. The 4 long carriage bolts are used to support a pan if I was to keep some other liquid warm. They also help protect the bulb from being bumped.
