A guy buys a really nice 1936 Phaeton and before he even gets it home is plotting how he is going to defile it. He then writes an article about how he has replaced the beautiful 1936 Ford bumpers with a straight across plain 1939 Buick bumper. It does absolutely nothing for the car, but the author thinks it looks better. I shudder to think of the future "improvements" he will make to this beautiful automobile.

I thought that was just dumb too. The custom bumper looked like crap.
