hmm they say their made of neoprene. Cant imagine they smell good.

If its anything like burnt electrical coil or transformer smell it will take a day or so to get out of your nose. The smell is actually microscopic particles of the burnt oil floating in the air. Its probably on your fingers and clothes too. Take a shower and scrub really good and or eat spicy salsa or peppermints or something to get your nose running then blow it clean if you can. Also clean your knife off really well as that smell doesn't go away easily lol
