I dug around in the junkyard and found a post war truck cab or what was left of it.
It was the 42 to 47 style and it had the drive rivits still intact and not pierced nails. Pictures are from the junk cab and the new Carpenter tag. Reason for needing to drill new holes , someone had filled in the original ones
The repop tag was from Carpenter and what i found comparing the original firewall hole to a snug drive in fit was a number 35 wire size drill (.110)
Size could vary with other make repop tags.
If you search for the same info as i did and you end up reading this the drill size i used may or may not work with the drive rivits from different suppliers.
