I had a website for several years. I didn't need it when I retired nearly 10 years ago, so it went away almost immediately. I have never been on social media. Until last Christmas I never had a cell phone. I refused to get one. My kids bought me a flip phone for Christmas. I pay $25/month for the phone to sit on the counter next to the sink in my bathroom. So far I have texted my son "I have a phone," and I called a friend who did not answer because he didn't recognize the number. Each of those calls has cost me $50. Maybe one of these days I might need it I am told.
