Might not do your Alternator any good, if you are so equipped. Don't know about the regulators built into the cut out box, do they fry with 12V? I have 6V, positive Alternators on my two drivers so if one stalls out I either push start or if there is a bit left I hand crank. That is quite simple to do and my cars usually start with about 1/4 turn, if they are going to start at all. If not then I resort to my charger and time, lots of time,
