They don't want to restore an old car - they want to own it and drive it.

So if your car/truck/whatever isn't 100 percent DONE as you're selling it - you'll never get the extra that you put into the fenders. It's still just a used truck - but a used truck with suspect fenders.

Sell em as you find them if you don't want to go the 100 percent yerself.
