Ill add to this - that missing board also has screws from under the cab into the board as well. (note the row of screw holes in the under seat pan) Study marcos pics - your center 2 seatback supports should have a pointy dagger things riveted to the wood towards the bottom - this is what holds the rear of the seat up.

Do i dare ask what the lebaron boney pre-upholstered seats cost? (probably a deal if one has no seat springs nor cover to work with or go by)
