Squeaking is not just caused by slipping fan belt.

The Model A’s generator isn’t always in perfect alignment with the other two revolving pulley’s. As the belts age, the edges dry out, and the slight mis-alignment causes a squeak.

I am never 100 percent right, but I’ve been at this for a long time. Try the WD40, just a very little on generator pulley. Enjoy.
