Default Re: Body to frame! Anyone ever have this?

Don't force the body down. Spend the time to find out why the body is not lying correctly. There should be about a uniform 1/4" gap between the body and running board aprons. There should be a 1/4" thickness of rubber shim at each body to frame bolt.

If you force the body down onto the frame, I would expect you will have some horrible door and or hood alignment problems.

Insert some 2x4 pieces of wood between the body and the frame, and look for the cause of the problem.
