I needed to convert an odd size metric screw the other day (M3 x .6 x 8mm) so see if any American size was close. I did a Google search for "metric conversion chart" and came up with good listings, which included conversions for length, area, and volume.
BTW, the standard pitch for an M3 screw is .5, so I have no idea why Honda used .6 on my 1964 Honda E40 portable generator.
