Default Re: Ford Engine Green

I am using paint from KBS coatings
https://www.kbs-coatings.com/engine-paint.html
The color is the ford green,, it looks black but it is not,,just "Tall Dark and Handsome"
It seems to be extremely tough stuff,,probably similar to POR 15, though I have not used that but have read enough about it.

With KBS the prep is everything,,,it is brushable, I quite like it so far.

I included a pic of a brake drum that I beat on after the studs were out,,,,
no chipping what so ever on either drum, I beat the snot out of them.
I phos. acid etched everything,,

It seems to have an extremely high pigment content, lots of solids as it covers instantly,,it might seem a bit pricey,,but it seems like real good stuff.(only the best for the A)

I might add that I had already purchased paint for the restore, but won't use it now,,so far I'm convinced that this is the stuff.

I would like to hear from anyone that has used it.
