I agree that the photo is a pre-race show, but not sure what the point is. They are all early bodies in race form. They are just not all on the track at the same time during a given race. Maybe it's different in your part of the country, but everywhere I have lived every town of any size had a dirt track cars and supported a track somewhere fairly close by, still do. If you drive around Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Taxes (places I have spent some time) you will see dirt track cars setting around very frequently. All of the 33/34 bodies and parts I have collected over the years have been ex-dirt track cars. Maybe it's just a mid-US thing.
