I would recommend that you put that heater on a shelf and not use it on your 29 (maybe 30 or 31) I just checked my 30 coupe with an Autolite manifold and airbox. It was 15 1/2 " from the top of the gas stank to the center of the heater "door" in the firewall. What that means to a 29 I can't say. But it looks as though the airbox sits lower on the engine than your model. The Autolite manifold has a shelf around the edge that that airbox rests on. If I lived in Illinois, I would have a working heater on it. Good luck!
